Chuck Capshaw

Board Member

Chuck Capshaw is an Evansville west side native, graduating from Reitz High School and the University of Southern Indiana, who serves the community as a Real Estate professional. He and his wife, Danielle, have two children. Danielle is a local teacher and has dedicated her professional life to Early Childhood Development.

Their oldest son, Chaz was diagnosed with autism in 2023, and Chuck joined Autism Evansville’s Board of Directors in January 2025.
Chuck has been passionate about supporting and coaching children in his spare time, coaching youth football for five years at the Evansville Junior Football League.
Once Chaz received his diagnosis, Chuck and Danielle wanted to apply their passion for the development of children specifically to helping other autistic children and their families get the support they need. They hope their efforts will raise autism awareness, support for the families of children on the spectrum, and help build a more accessible world for neurodivergent children in our community.

The Capshaw family enjoys travel adventures, lots of Bluey/Mickey Mouse, and dog walks with their two dachshunds, Turbo and Zoomie.
