5.31.23. Autism Evansville has received requests to support individuals on the spectrum over the age of 18.
We strongly agree with these requests, and have begun compiling resources for adults on the spectrum that will live on our website.
These resources will also help families as they transition from childhood to adulthood.
**We will hold virtual support groups for adults on the spectrum beginning July 2023.
Autism Evansville is proud to support The Arc Southwest Indiana and Toyota Indiana.
Did you know Toyota works with The Arc Southwest Indiana to create employment opportunities, and so far, Toyota has hired 100 individuals with disabilities. ❤️
For more information on employment opportunities, individuals can call The Arc Southwest Indiana at 812-386-6312 or visit their website at: arcswin.org/wordpress/talent/

This is a great start. My daughter has been looking for a support group. Every time my 20 year old daughter on the spectrum has seen the new meeting title “neurodivergent support group” she has thought it was a support group for those on spectrum or neurodivergent persons. I explained to her know it’s for families with children on the spectrum or neurodivergent children. There just aren’t any groups like this for adults in our Evansville area.
5.30.23. Our first SkyZone Family Fun Event for this year is this Saturday, June 3, from 8a to 10a. Looking forward to seeing our families!

Is this only offered during the summer months? Is it every year? My oldest is 10 and needs a resource like this.
Will you have anything like this for older "kids" in the future? My 21 yr old would love a chance to meet others around his age. Covid really didn't help us navigate anything in the social world and then he graduated... we had some hiccups along the way and now we are trying to get him more involved on a weekly, biweekly or at min monthly basis. He just started a dance class that he enjoyed for the first time last week. We are def looking for social, volunteer ops and maybe even part time work ops. I know I'm putting it all out there with this one comment but anything anyone can suggest is very much appreciated!!!
Crystal Jennings it is this....https://schoolofballetindiana.com on the east side of Evansville near the back side of Eastland Mall. It's not a specific special needs class. It's just a beginner's class for adults. Feel free to message me with any questions.
We wanted to share the below for any of our families! 💙🔽 ... See MoreSee Less
