We are proud to have awarded over 40 vouchers to help families afford products and services not covered by insurance since 2014.
Our Voucher Program is available for individuals age 21 and under who live in our service area of Posey, Gibson, Warrick, Spencer, Pike and Vanderburgh counties in Indiana.
This program is not based solely on financial need. We encourage anyone who struggles to pay for autism services for their child to submit an application.
How Long Do I Have To Submit An Application Once They Are Open For Submission?
Families will have three weeks to submit a voucher application once the Voucher Program is re-open in the months of June and November.
If My Child Is Chosen To Receive A Voucher, How Will I Know?
Families who are selected will receive a phone call.
How Long Do I Have To Use The Voucher?
Families will have one year to use the voucher towards their chosen service provider. If your child is waitlisted for a service you are wanting them to receive, we will work with your family in that instance.
If My Child Is Chosen, How Will I Receive The Voucher?
Your family will not be receiving a physical check. Instead, Autism Evansville works directly with the provider to cover the costs of your chosen service.
Who Will Have Access To My Private Information On The Voucher Application?
Your private information will be redacted for Autism Evansville’s Board Of Directors. The only individual who will have access to your full information on the voucher application is Executive Director, Kelsey Schapker.
