Autism Evansville is a nonprofit organization committed to serving families affected by autism across seven counties in southwest Indiana: Vanderburgh, Posey, Gibson, Warrick, Pike, Spencer, and Knox.
Families may often feel lost, isolated, and don’t know what steps to take upon receiving a diagnosis. That’s where we come in. See our four autism-centered community programs below and visit the First Steps Upon Receiving An ASD Diagnosis tab to take the first steps to give your child the tools they need to thrive.

Autism Evansville has a passion for those affected individuals and their families. Our executive director, board of directors, and other volunteers oversee and administer all programs. Through partnerships with service providers, schools, and the local community, we carry out our mission.
Autism Evansville events bring individuals and families who have autism spectrum disorder, their siblings, and parents/caregivers together in a supportive recreational environment.

Sensory Sunday with our friends at Children's Museum of Evansville will be taking place on **Sunday, March 2, 2025, from 9am to 11:30am.**
•Free admission, entire family welcome!
•cMoe will close at 11:30am and reopen to the general public at 12pm.
•Be advised, the wet deck is under construction but will reopen in the spring.

2.11.25. It’s been a busy few days behind the scenes at Autism Evansville and we are so grateful!
•Last week we had the pleasure of experiencing the Leadership Retreat in New Harmony with other servant leaders in the tri-state through Leadership Everyone! 💙
•We also had the privilege of teaching the autism portion at CIT training (Crisis Intervention Team) to local first responders. Photo provided by: Spencer County Sheriff’s Office.
•We filmed our Midday with Mike segment for our fundraiser, Taking Steps For Autism Walk & 5K, which will air on Friday, Feb 14.

2.10.25. AUTISM SUPPORT PROGRAM: Applications are now being accepted until Friday, February 28, 2025.
♥️ The Autism Support Program is available for applications for individuals age 21 & under who live in our service area of Posey, Vanderburgh, Gibson, Warrick, Pike, Spencer & Knox Counties.
♥️We encourage any family who struggles to pay for autism-related services to submit an application.
➡️Service examples include but are not limited to: speech & occupational therapy, guardianship, swim lessons, drivers education, & more.

Question. If I decide to do the family walk do one of our members just sign up and my kids and my husband walk with us in the family walk for $30 or do I pay $60 for my husband and I to attend the family walk?
